The Los Batanes campsite is located on the border between the provinces of Albacete and Ciudad Real, in the heart of the Ruidera Lakes Natural Park, which constitutes the most exceptional wetland in Castilla-La Mancha.
Located in the Alto Guadiana Valley, very close to the towns of Ossa de Montiel and Ruidera, the fifteen lagoons that make up the shape of the Natural Park run along a 35 km of river strech. They are linked to each other by streams, waterfalls and underground flows, saving a 120 m difference in level and occupying a total area of 3772 hectares. On its bed live countless species, both fauna and flora.
