Fuencaliente is a small and picturesque town located in the southwest of the province of Ciudad Real, nestled in Sierra Madrona, near the border of the province of Córdoba and 98 km. from the capital. with an altitude of 696 m, it has a Mediterranean climate.
Fuencaliente has easy access despite its mountainous location, it has a good infrastructure network within reach both from the north and from the south, since several options can be used to reach the village, in addition to being very close to the large towns of population (Puertollano and Ciudad Real to the north and Montoro, Villanueva de Córdoba, Pozoblanco and Córdoba to the south)
The town has one of the most precious assets, water, with its numerous sources from the different rivers and other sources of natural gorges. It also has important cave sites and a great botanical and faunal diversity.
The Fuencaliente campsite is currently undergoing renovation, modernizing its facilities. The objective of the City Council is to be able to open it soon, as soon as new investors and managers come in.
This establishment allows camping for one night, a few weeks or even several months.
